[Speaker 1] (0:02 - 0:57) After seven we're gonna get started with our agenda. We are having this meeting remotely as advertised as on our agenda. We have just a couple of petitions that are on our agenda tonight because we have petition 2126 for Pine Street being continued to the May 24th meeting we have assigned continuance for that and also 17 Crossman Ave is being continued to the May 24th meeting. So let me and we also have the wind development 2101 is continued to the May 9th meeting. So I'm gonna make a motion to continue those matters as described to those dates. Do I have a second for that motion? [Speaker 7] (0:57 - 0:58) Second. [Speaker 1] (0:59 - 1:03) Okay, so we'll roll call because we are remote. So I'm yes, Heather. [Speaker 7] (1:03 - 1:04) Yes. [Speaker 1] (1:04 - 1:04) Paula. [Speaker 7] (1:05 - 1:05) Yes. [Speaker 1] (1:05 - 1:37) Andy. Yes. Tony. Yes. Okay, then the next item of business is meeting minutes. We have I think a couple of months or a couple of meetings. Did anyone need more time to review meeting minutes or have any comments on the proposed ones? Hearing none. I'll let's see we have meeting minutes, which one of the meetings that we have with dates out there Marissa? [Speaker 4] (1:38 - 1:44) March 2nd, excuse me, March 22nd and April 15th. April 12th. Sorry. [Speaker 1] (1:44 - 1:59) I'll make a motion to approve those two meeting minutes as provided to us in the email earlier today. Do I have a second on that? [Speaker 7] (1:59 - 2:00) Second. [Speaker 1] (2:01 - 2:03) We'll do a roll call so I'll be yes, Paula. [Speaker 7] (2:03 - 2:04) Yes. [Speaker 1] (2:04 - 2:04) Heather. [Speaker 7] (2:05 - 2:05) Yes. [Speaker 1] (2:06 - 2:41) Andy. Yes. Tony. Yes. Okay, great. And then next we'll go to the next item on the agenda. I'm going to take the two petitions on. We have the Swansford Housing Authority properties, Cherry Street, and for Duncan Terrace. I believe it is. [Speaker 4] (2:41 - 2:42) And Burroughs Street. [Speaker 1] (2:43 - 2:48) Burroughs Street. I'm going to take those together. So is there anyone here on those petitions? [Speaker 4] (2:50 - 2:54) Yes, Richard Callahan is here, the chair of the Swansford Housing Authority. [Speaker 1] (2:54 - 3:03) Yes, Mr. Callahan, how are you? I'm doing fine. Good to have you here. Can you tell us briefly about the petitions? [Speaker 5] (3:04 - 3:36) We felt it would be appropriate to have some signs made up that were good looking and proper and low key to provide the address for the housing authority, the home office, a phone number for contact purposes. And also we felt that it would be advantageous to our tenants if they had the name outside of the property if they're expecting any deliveries or anything else. It kind of dress up the front of the buildings. [Speaker 1] (3:40 - 4:08) Okay, let's see that we have photos that have the proposed location on Burroughs Street. And I have on Cherry Street. And then there's proposed two sided sign. Dimensionally. So what do you know what type of relief you need from us here? Just a special permit for signs or dimensional relief for the time. Right. [Speaker 5] (4:12 - 4:14) I'm sorry, Mike, I could barely hear you. [Speaker 1] (4:14 - 4:40) What I what I said was the relief you need from us just a special permit to have the sign in that zoning district. Yeah, we don't need any dimensional relief per se for the sign that you're aware of, right, not that I'm aware of now. Okay. Any questions from anyone on the board. [Speaker 3] (4:42 - 4:50) I can't help but I got a stupid question. What, why wouldn't they be blue. I mean, home of the big blue and all. [Speaker 5] (4:51 - 4:57) That's a good question. Mr Callahan, you got me on that one. [Speaker 3] (4:57 - 5:00) Okay. All right. That's my question. Let's move on. [Speaker 1] (5:01 - 5:08) Well, we can approve it has shown or in blue. But the big blue color. [Speaker 3] (5:08 - 5:23) What on our street signs blue now. So our street signs green. I think they're blue. We changed certain number of them are. Yeah, the new models of all turned to blue. I don't know anybody else with me. [Speaker 1] (5:23 - 5:40) Come on, Heather you guys with you on that I would. I think we should leave it in the petitioners discretion but with a strong recommendation that the side be blue Mr. Crowder to it is that we've already. [Speaker 5] (5:41 - 5:49) The signs have been delivered and they're already in anticipation of approval. [Speaker 3] (5:49 - 5:51) All right, next time around. [Speaker 1] (5:51 - 5:52) Yeah, well they get replaced. [Speaker 5] (5:55 - 5:58) That comments will be repeated when we get to the next meeting. [Speaker 1] (6:02 - 6:08) Okay. All right. So do I have. Is there anyone that wanted to be heard on these petitions. [Speaker 4] (6:09 - 6:22) If there is any comment from the public, you may use the raise your hand function to ask your question or voice your comment. I have Diana Weinstein with her hand raised. [Speaker 6] (6:23 - 7:10) Okay, I'm going to butter to the Dunkin Terrace area. Could you. I saw the proposed placing of the signs for Doherty. And, okay. So which one is it for Duncan. Okay. All right. So it's going to face outward from the door to the street. Okay. Right next to the mailboxes. Fine. Thank you. That's all I was concerned about as you can see I'm right next door and I was just wondering where the science we're going to be placed. Thank you. I appreciate your thoughts. Have a good day. [Speaker 1] (7:11 - 7:14) Okay, thanks. Anyone else that wanted to be heard about these petitions. [Speaker 4] (7:16 - 7:18) Again, you may use the raise your hand function. [Speaker 7] (7:23 - 7:24) Seeing none. [Speaker 1] (7:27 - 7:45) Okay, does anyone want to make a motion on this petition. You don't even need to use the raise your hand function, and before it just I can write this one. [Speaker 7] (7:47 - 7:49) So, I'm going to move to approve petition. [Speaker 4] (7:50 - 7:57) What petition number is it, Marissa. It is 22 dash oh two letters, a through C. [Speaker 7] (7:58 - 8:05) 22 Oh two, a through C to approve three signs for the housing authority buildings. [Speaker 1] (8:06 - 8:21) Okay. All right. Do we have a second on that second. Okay, so I'm gonna do a roll call. So, Heather's yes you made the motion Andy. Yes. Paula. [Speaker 7] (8:22 - 8:23) Yes, Tony. [Speaker 1] (8:24 - 8:31) Yes. And I am yes so you have your relief, Mr. It's much appreciated. [Speaker 5] (8:31 - 8:36) I want to thank you board members. Thank you and everybody stay healthy. [Speaker 1] (8:37 - 8:37) You too. [Speaker 5] (8:38 - 8:39) Thank you. [Speaker 1] (8:41 - 9:04) Okay, so the next matter that we have on our agenda is the final matter petition 2203, now being up to 7pm. Michael john sick. Or should I have that pronounced correctly 166 period in road. [Speaker 2] (9:05 - 9:05) That's correct. [Speaker 1] (9:06 - 9:08) Okay. All right, well welcome. [Speaker 2] (9:09 - 9:09) Thank you. [Speaker 1] (9:10 - 9:20) So can you tell us about a little bit about your Well, thank you for the board for hearing my proposal. [Speaker 2] (9:21 - 10:56) I'm a new homeowner here and so I'm Scott and I recently purchased 166 to 168 period in lane and cream road I'm sorry. And we're renovating the home now with a plan to build a porch that would go to the second and third floor. Now, you can see on the surveyors plan there that if the porch was built there, there would be pretty much four posts place. And because the home is at an at an angle to the road, one of the posts, the one on the far right would be enclosed within the 20 foot zoning restriction. It would be placed at 18 feet. The other remaining posts would all be in appropriate position past the 20 foot zoning laws. And what I am asking if the board could grace me the two feet of the 18 of 20 feet that I was planning on placing that post. And I actually spoke to my, my neighbors about this to see if they had any opposition or they felt that that would impede on their view, and they had no issues with that at all. And I hadn't I provided them with full design document, saying that they are okay with that. And so I'm really just asking for one post to be moved two feet closer in the 20 foot zoning restriction. [Speaker 1] (11:02 - 11:13) So you say, I just want to understand about the area that's going to be constructed above the post. [Speaker 2] (11:13 - 11:14) Absolutely. [Speaker 1] (11:15 - 11:20) So what is extending out as far as that post into the. [Speaker 2] (11:20 - 11:44) So there will be four posts that hold up a porch on the second floor, and the porch is just a lookout that will be about three feet. And the one on the far right when you're looking from the aerial view will be the one within the 20 foot zoning. No. Okay. [Speaker 1] (11:47 - 11:51) And I see you have I see neighbor support, one of the items. [Speaker 2] (11:52 - 12:03) I do I have both neighbors on each side. I would potentially, you know, obstruct their view or, or, or they might have any complaints. [Speaker 1] (12:06 - 12:30) Marissa can you open that up, so we can just take a look at what's on the neighbor support is it showing right now. It's just going to click on it. I mean it's just showing it clicked on the double click. All right, so I see a consent so that can you go down just a little bit so we can see who it's from right here at the top. [Speaker 4] (12:31 - 12:32) 164. [Speaker 1] (12:32 - 12:34) Their name is shown on the plan. [Speaker 4] (12:36 - 12:40) And then you provided them with a copy of the plan. [Speaker 1] (12:41 - 12:55) And then, on the other side. Yeah. Okay. Great. All right. So is there any, anyone that wanted to be heard about this petition. Use the raise your hand feature. [Speaker 4] (12:56 - 12:59) We currently have no other attendees online. [Speaker 1] (13:00 - 13:03) Is there anyone from the board that has any questions about this petition. [Speaker 8] (13:04 - 13:18) Just have one, maybe dumb question it's in the, in the application it's it's requesting a special permit for non conforming uses or structures what's the non conformity, is it. It's not frontage right because it's got enough frontage. [Speaker 3] (13:18 - 13:28) It's undersized undersized. Yeah, it's a 12,000 foot lot. Yeah, so it's got to be undersized in that district. No no 10,000 and 10,000. [Speaker 1] (13:28 - 13:47) Oh, sorry. So on this, it's, it's non conforming because on the side yard. The required is seven and a half. Oh no, for me they're they're 10 and a half, 10. [Speaker 3] (13:48 - 13:56) I think maybe he checked non conforming because he's out of balance, and he really just needed to check dimensional special permit. [Speaker 1] (14:01 - 14:09) I think so. I think you see the dimensional special permit. But that's okay we are, you know, better too much notice. Right. Yeah. [Speaker 3] (14:12 - 14:21) He's within the 20% relief that we give to everybody. And in fairness the way the house is built angles, because of the side yard. [Speaker 1] (14:21 - 14:21) Right. [Speaker 3] (14:22 - 14:24) This is a no brainer. I agree. [Speaker 1] (14:27 - 14:28) Sure. [Speaker 3] (14:29 - 14:53) I'll make a motion to approve the petition of Michael Johnson for 166 168 Puritan road to add a front porch within the side setback, and within the front setback, and getting dimensional relief from the required 20 feet to 18 feet as per the plan and Do we have a second. [Speaker 1] (14:54 - 14:59) Second. So Andy made the motion he's a yes Tony. [Speaker 8] (14:59 - 14:59) Yes. [Speaker 1] (15:00 - 15:01) Paula. [Speaker 7] (15:01 - 15:02) Yes. [Speaker 1] (15:02 - 15:02) Heather. [Speaker 7] (15:03 - 15:03) Yes. [Speaker 1] (15:04 - 15:23) And I am a yes. So Michael you have your relief five zero and you'll write a decision will submit that to the town clerk is a 20 day appeal period. After that requires you can get a copy of that decision with the certification from the clerk and you'll be able to record that at the registry of deeds. [Speaker 2] (15:23 - 15:25) Thank you so much. [Speaker 1] (15:25 - 15:27) All right. Now, thank you. [Speaker 2] (15:27 - 15:28) Everybody. [Speaker 1] (15:28 - 15:33) All right, everyone. So, that's it. [Speaker 4] (15:34 - 15:36) Seven, maybe a record 717. [Speaker 3] (15:37 - 15:42) This is the new, this is the new format to petitions a month. You can go only 10 minutes. [Speaker 1] (15:45 - 15:49) Just to. Yeah. Hey we earned it. The other. [Speaker 4] (15:51 - 15:56) Guys have had a busy, busy last few months, so. [Speaker 1] (15:56 - 16:00) So our next hearing is me now. Correct. [Speaker 4] (16:01 - 16:02) At the high school. [Speaker 1] (16:02 - 16:05) At the high school in person and that's on place. [Speaker 4] (16:05 - 16:05) Yes. [Speaker 1] (16:06 - 16:12) Okay. And I hope that we're gonna wrap up and have a vote that evening. Okay. [Speaker 4] (16:13 - 16:19) Yep. And then we have the 24th, the final Tuesday of the month because Tom meeting is the week before. [Speaker 1] (16:21 - 16:30) What else do we have on our town for that may 24 just pine street right now, pine street crossman. [Speaker 4] (16:31 - 16:44) And I am expecting a new filing for the addition of an attic. So, an addition of a half story at 93 Kensington. [Speaker 3] (16:44 - 16:49) I have another question mark did you make the cut on town meeting. [Speaker 1] (16:51 - 17:07) I would assume I did. I've been trying to get off it for years, much like the GBA but I keep getting brought back. There are only 30 people I think on the ballot for 54 spots. Right. So if I didn't make it. [Speaker 3] (17:10 - 17:14) So, well now that I know you want to get off next time next year I'm not going to vote for you. [Speaker 1] (17:18 - 18:11) Well, before I was on, because just a very brief story. The first time I ran for town meeting. It was much more contested as I think maybe the high school was going up at that time or something or one of the proposals for it. And I got a call from Chris Lucas, and he said mark I'm at town hall, three people tied for the last spot on town meeting. And we're going to draw straws, do you want to come down for it I said no no go ahead. They kept me on the phone they said whoever we draw isn't going to serve, because it was only two. They drew my name so I was out I didn't serve, so I get home I tell my wife. And she says to me, Oh my god, I am so sorry I forgot to vote. Perfect. So she said how she said I actually said are you angry with me I said oh no I would have taken that to my grave. [Speaker 3] (18:16 - 18:26) That's a good story. You know you hear you hear like you always joke about that, whatever. Now it really happened well that's a great story I'm going to pass that on. [Speaker 1] (18:26 - 18:29) Yeah, it's funny. Can't believe she told me. Yeah. [Speaker 3] (18:29 - 18:30) All right. [Speaker 1] (18:30 - 18:40) All right. So, we'll see you. Yeah, thanks everybody for making this. Thank you. [Speaker 7] (18:42 - 18:42) Everyone.
